For ASOS, this was more than a celebration.
It was the homecoming of a player who once trained, competed and grew with us โ and then went on to represent India against England at Lordโs.
Jayesh Parmar is one of our own. And today, every young athlete at ASOS has a bigger dream because of him.

To see someone who has been part of the ASOS journey wear the India colours on one of cricketโs most iconic stages is a moment we will remember for a long time.

The most powerful moments came off the stage.
Jayesh sat with our young cricketers, answered their questions, shared the real story behind his journey and stepped into the nets with them.
For the children watching, inspiration suddenly wasnโt distant.
It was standing right in front of them.
The day was also graced by Mr. Amit Sengupta , Head of Media & Communications, British Deputy High Commission; Mr. Utpal Majumder, Honorary Secretary & Coach, WBCADA; and Bengal cricketer Mr. Rahul Prasad , who were felicitated for their contribution and support to the sport.

As a gesture of support for the journey ahead, Aditya Group presented Jayesh with โน50,000 towards his cricketing career.
But the biggest takeaway from the day was not the cheque, the felicitation or the photographs.
It was the belief Jayesh left behind.
That an ASOS player can dream of India.
That challenges do not define the finish line.
And that the next Jayesh Parmar may already be training on our ground today.

Jayesh Parmar walked onto the field as an ASOS cricketer with a dream. Today, he returns after wearing the India jersey and representing the country against England at the iconic Lordโs Cricket Ground.
