Aditya School of Sports had come up with one of its kind T20 cricket tournament amongst 8 participating districts of West Bengal for the first time to promote cricket across the State of Bengal.
With the blessings of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) and in active support from the District Sports Association, ASOS T20 Inter-District Invitation Cricket Tournament took place from May 25 to June 1, 2019, at ASOS Cricket Stadium, ASOS Arena, Barasat.
8 under 19 District Teams affiliated to the CAB were invited to play this year with the introduction of Games Village concept for the first time in Cricket at any level across the globe. It was perhaps also the first time that a private body apart from the CAB had come forward to organize such a tournament for the Districts.
The Semi-Finals and Finals of the tournament were live broadcasted on SITI Cable, Channel No.11, one of India’s largest Multi System Operator, which reaches to more than 52lac homes and draws a smile across 2.50 Cr faces.
